VSE Corporation is a prime contractor for the CECOM Rapid Response Third Generation (R2-3G) Program awarded by the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) located at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. VSE Corporation was established in 1959 to provide engineering and technical support services to reduce the cost and improve the reliability of DoD systems and equipment. The CECOM Rapid Response Program (CR2) provides federal managers an efficient and effective means of acquiring critical services, sustainining crucial programs, mitigating system downtime, and serving the immediate needs of the war-fighters and other key federal program managers. The CECOM Rapid Response Project Office manages a Multiple Award Task Order contract vehicle that consists of 18 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts with an aggregate ceiling of $16.4B and a five-year period of performance, including options.
